Then the march steps off at 6pm down Market St to the CA Supreme Court (Civic Center) at 6:45pm for vigil program, recommitment ceremony, speakers, and moment of silence. (Here's a map.) Bring an umbrella and something warm to wear. Find out more info here.

5 pm // Market and Castro // free

MUSIC: KPFA's "Hard Knock" radio DJ Mike Biggs and your poet Sellassie host "We All We Got," a performance party / open mic night. What' so exciting about this weekly hip and hop night? It happens at Levende Lounge, which we thought no longer exists. Last time we were there, half of our dot-com final paycheck went up our nose. (We kid!) But you should check out the place. Mission and Division is so this year's Mission and 19th Street, which used to be last year's Valencia and 16th Street. Anyway, you get the idea.

9 pm // Levende Lounge (1710 Mission) // $10

CLUB: Super fun fresh music comes at you via Hot Challenge, Lilofee, DJ Aaron, and DJ BAGel Ted, while $2 Negro Modelo (from 8-9:30) pollutes your liver. What could be better? Check out Rumble 16 in downtown SF.

8 pm // Harlot (46 Minna) // free entry with RSVP
