Newsom, Brown, Daly, Dufty, and Ford are at this morning's groundbreaking ceremony for the temporary transbay terminal. Where are you?

Billed as the "Grand Central of the West," today's dirt shoveling launched the first step in the Transbay Transit Center Program (i.e., construction of the Temporary Terminal, the temporary facility that will serve bus passengers when the grander Transbay Transit Center is under construction.) Nestled in between Main, Folsom, Beale and Howard streets, the Temporary Terminal is only a couple of blocks away from the current (and qutie disgusting) Transbay Terminal facility. The terminal will serve AC Transit, WestCAT, MUNI, Golden Gate Transit, SamTrans, and loony Greyhound riders.

What I'm Seeing's Plug1, thankfully, was there to capture all of the blue collar-like action.
