The Yerba Buena Center (301 Mission): non-partisan election night party, featuring with free pizza after 8 p.m., cash bar, "big walls to scribble and draw on," DJs and dance performances, and big-screen TVs tuned in to PBS, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and, yes, Fox. (6 p.m., free)

Yoshi's (1330 Fillmore): Political commentator Bill Press, Green 960 Radio's Angie Coiro and Sebastian Kunzwill wil be there. You will be in cocktail attire. OK? OK. (5 p.m; $5, $25 [VIP])

Edinburgh Castle (950 Geary): Full coverage on the big screen. Will be a most festive night here. Highly recommended. Oh, and there will be an live open-mike all night for those of you who need to rant. Or, perform a torch song medley from . Whichever. (6 p.m., free)
