California Dems are zooming ahead of California Republicans in terms of voter registration. It seems, according to the California Secretary of State's Office, Democrats take up 43.9 percent of the electorate, while Republicans represent 32.3 percent. While Dems having a stronghold in the state is nothing new, your more Republican-y counties like San Bernardino, Ventura, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin now have more Democrats than Republicans.
