We dragged estimable photog Darwin Bell with us to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts' annual bash to local artists, Artists Ball 7, last Friday night. The first half of the fete was a fancy dinner featuring Mos Def, which was fit for people on the social registry/making six figures a year.

We couldn't get into that. But we, along with many other plebeians, made it to the dance party, which featured a mock protest, an election theme (hence the red, white, and blue color palate), free food and booze, dancing, and a surprise shower outside.
