Political differences aside, we love us some Melanie Morgan.

That's right. We said it. Why? Well, for a number of reasons, but mainly because the former KSFO host and KGO reporter posts such delicious gems as this. It seems the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) is holding auditions for a "YouTube viral video spoof of Sarah Palin," with a focus on blue humor.

The film, shot by "renowned" director Caveh Zahedi, will go a little something like this: Palin gets a call from McCain asking her to join the Republican ticket. She accepts, "but has a very unusual surprise up her sleeve...a special, secret fetish for Obama." (Oy.) Apparently the adventure in cinema will be a "short 2 minute film with real viral potential, since it will reveal a top-secret election toy that is sure to be the talk of the water cooler." Currently the are looking for people to play the roles of Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin.

This promises to be as funny about as a Mark Russell marathon on KQED.

Anyway, if you want to audition, the details are as follows:

Date: 9/11/08
