So: you like to watch movies on your cmputr. Good for you. You've probably noticed that it's sometimes hard to find the title you're looking for -- iTunes? Amazon? Fandango? Netflix? Hulu? InfomercialsITV? Each one has movies, but not all movies.

The good news: Hollywood is coming to the rescue. They're supposedly working on one website that'll point you in the right direction for any movie -- whether a rental, a DVD, movie tix, or torrent. (Well, probably not torrents.) They're testing a few names for this service with users now. The bad news: all of the potential names are absurd. And taken.

Flickz.com sounds like a line of girl's dolls, and is being squatted for $4,088.00 according to name.com. RedCarpetFlix.com sounds nasty, and is parked via godaddy. Film Depot sounds like a hardware store -- or a camera store, which is what it currently is. And MovieMarket sounds like a tacky memorabilia shop, which is what it currently is. Well done, marketing department.

But whatever. Frankly, it doesn't matter which lame name we wind up stuck with ... as long as we're finally able to figure out where to go online to watch the Blossom movie.
