BERKELEY, MONDAY: Early this morning at around 1:40 a.m. on the 1500 block of Russell Street, three women and one man received non-life-threatening "shrapnel wounds" after a bout of gunfire in front of an apartment complex. No arrests have been made.

EAST OAKLAND, SATURDAY: Aspiring rapper Bobby Hall II was shot and killed while visiting a friend over on the 6800 block of MacArthur Boulevard. (His brother, Jesse Hall, we should point out, was also murdered in East Oakland back in 1992.) No arrests have been made.

BAYVIEW-HUNTERS POINT, SATURDAY: After miraculously being found not-guilty on a murder rap after the star witness was killed in 2005, Daniel "Dango" Dennard, 23, of Antioch was shot and killed while riding his motorcycle on Bayshore Boulevard at Industrial Street. The alleged gang member's death happened around 7:20 p.m. This bring the City's murder rate to 59.

MONDAY, SAN FRANCISCO: A vile 21-year-old father was sent to jail this morning after a three-hour standoff in which he threatened to kill his girlfriend, her brother, and her daughter. Santa Maria-Celis, according to CBS 5, got into a physical fight with his girlfriend and "reportedly threw a piggy bank at his girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter, who was in bed, hitting her in the face." Nice. Let's hope she doesn't take him back.
