As we reported earlier today,
three two people were shot to death while driving in the Excelsior District yesterday. What's been revealed since the last post is that the three shooting victims were a father and two sons returning from a family barbecue in Fairfield, says the Gate.
Identified as Anthony Bologna, 48, and his sons, Michael Bologna, 19, and Matthew Bologna, 13 or 14, their brutal daytime shooting deaths are being reported as a road rage incident. (One son managed to escape unharmed.) According to a relative, "angry glares or gestures" might have been exchanged, which could have then led to this family massacre. Ugh.
Again, if there are any witnesses out there, please call the SFPD's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444. And who knows? They might actually do something if you call.
Update: It has been re-reported that the father and the youngest son, Matthew, died. Michael is currently in "critical but stable" condition.
