With AIDS Life riders, marchers, and massers, your Muni commute might get testy. Here's how:

  • At 6:00 p.m. tonight the Critical Mass bicycle jaunt begins at Justin Herman Plaza. Market Street will be a mess until nightfall. Just say no to the F Market; take underground trains instead.
  • Then we have the annual AIDS Lifecycle/Day on the Ride, which happens early Saturday morning at 5:30 a.m. According to the stellar Judson True over at SFMTA HQ, "there are no street closures, blocked intersections or Muni re-routes because of the ride, but expect increased bike traffic along the route and possible Muni delays on nearby routes."
  • And lastly, a very special event: the San Francisco March of Dimes March for Babies walk starts early Saturday morning at 8 a.m. The march makes a circle starting at the Great Meadow in Fort Mason through the Presidio and then back to the Great Meadow. "The 29-Sunset and 43-Masonic Muni lines will be affected."
