Thieves calling themselves (or called by the media, we're not exactly sure) "the Rippers" are snatching purses from women walking across San Jose parking lots. The men, it seems, are targeting Asian women, reports CBS 5. The San Jose Police suspects a ring--usually involving two to three men--who pounce on a lady while she is walking through a well-lit parking lot.

The clan have committed over 21 acts of violence since November.

Each victim has been Asian except one. The most recent case happened this past Tuesday at a Costco parking lot. Police have made no arrests so far.
