Building Demolition at One Hawthorne Uncovers Old-Time Ham and Bacon Ad

Those quick cats over at Curbed beat us to this, but you know the building that was recently demolished over at One Hawthorne (at Howard Street) to make way for a gloriously glassy condo complex? It revealed some old signage from the days of yore.

At the risk of sounding like Homer Simpson, why there isn't a store devoted entirely to the perfect production of ham and bacon anymore is beyond us. Nevertheless, it's a fantastic sign, one that will, hopefully, be incorporated into the new complex.
