We've really been digging this "EveryBlock" website, which aggregates news, crime reports, photos, reviews, health inspections, and lots of other details about neighborhoods. But unfortunately, the SFPD's data-sharing tool CrimeMAPS is pretty old-fashioned (it says it requires Windows and IE, which is either hilarious or depressing) and so hard to use that it makes web developers want to cry. So, the available data is a bit limited; and all we know (and all we really to know) is that on January 28th, somewhere between the Richmond and the Castro, there was a prowler, and he was hot.
