Even with all the nasty weather, this weekend proved to be yet another violent one in San Francisco. For sure. After five shootings took place within a 24-hour time period, two people lost their lives. Let's go to the rewind, folks:

  • Yesterday, on Rosie Lee Lane in the Bayview district, Torrance Gray, 16, was found dead of multiple gunshots wounds. SFPD were responding to a call when they found him.
  • A few hours earlier, at Jelly's Dance Cafe, another deadly shooting occurred. It appears that "victim was identified by the medical examiner as Clarence Corbin, 34, of Antioch. He was standing in a crowd outside the club when shots rang out ... [t]he victim, who was struck by multiple bullets, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 5 a.m."
  • And then, a sundry of shootings were reported on Saturday in the 3300 block of Mission and 29th streets (2 a.m.); at Campton Place, about a block away from Union Square (1:10 a.m.); and at Webster and Fulton streets, near Alamo Square.

Ah, another weekend night in San Francisco. God help us.
