Local, Izzie Award-winning choreographer Chris Black takes nine dancers and breaks down the game of baseball into nine different parts, with strong footwork representing varied aspects of the game: sliding into home, making a catch, dueling pitchers, fighting, steroid injections, and more.
All performances are free and take place at public parks around the Bay Area San Francisco, so don't forget to bring your coolers full of Bud, your baseball jerseys (does one even wear a jersey in baseball?), some nachos, and a love of the dance. The shows start at 1:05 p.m. sharp at:
- Justin Herman Plaza Park - 9/15-16
- Precita Park - 9/22-23
- Golden Gate Park (Peacock Meadow) - 9/29-30
