Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile came through town over the weekend to entertain a sold out house at the Fillmore. A little bit country/folky, a little bit rock and roll - something for both Fogheads Alicians. The reviewer from the San Jose Merc News was blown away, comparing Brandi to Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt and Mary Chapin Carpenter. She's already moved on to other cities on VH1's 'You Oughta Know' Tour along with up-and-coming A Fine Frenzy (whom we didn't get a chance to see). It was a great performance.
