Hey, everyone -- once again, it's your contributions that have put the sheen on the apple that is SFist. Check out your editors' picks for Top 5 comments of the week -- and enjoy!

1] Michael Sexton, ride director of the Marin Century 2007 cycling event, visited our pages to comment on SFist Chris' coverage of the event, and gave a little more back story on after-race events and registration considerations.

2] Lots of folks weighed on the impending invasion of SBUX into the Inner Richmond. While reactions varied, we were glad to see a lack of simplistic "boo, evil corporate giant," talk. Folks made good points on all sides. From makfan's "so what, it's not that bad," to rroseleavy's "that's the free market economy," to mariconsoy's point of maintaining neighborhood flavor, comments were varied and well thought out.

3] We think this is probably our favorite comment It's metatextual, pertinent, and funny all at the same time. Bravo, MalcoveMagnesia.

4] We liked Haplito's take on the news that Don Fisher wants to open an art museum in the Presidio; his pragmatism about why it'll probably be a good thing instantly diminished our skepticism.

5] Chris Daly ain't running -- and ChinaNob wonders why some of the other possible Newsom threats didn't. But do you really think short people count as a voting block?

Thanks, readers and participants!

ever.
