Spring Art Auction at Mezzanine
Visual Aid and Academy of Friends presents the sixth annual spring art auction to benefit locals AIDS service organizations, with cocktails, wine from Napa and hors'd oeuvres before the live auction. Over 50 works of art were donated by well-known artists, galleries and luxury businesses (think a baby grand piano, airline tickets, holiday travel, jewelry and more).Get there by 6pm, tickets are $50 a pop, but hey, all proceeds from the evening will go to support 15 Bay Area HIV/AIDS service organizations. 444 Jessie Street, SF.

Ever wanted to learn how to whip up Channa Masala, Jeera pilaf, and a fresh Mango Lassi? Head out to a class in Cupertino to learn how to make a light, all organic summery meal. Classes are held from 6:30 - 8pm and you'll want to register in advance to guarantee your spot.
