Update on the School Kids

The driver involved was 70 year-old Mauro Yan of Redwood City. Eyewitnesses say he either looked asleep or in a state of shock but Yan's wife said that he was having trouble with his brakes. Police are looking into the brake failure to see if that was the cause and will test Yan for drugs & alcohol too. Not said but something we thought of as soon as we heard the dude was 70 was, well, let's just say, "driving while gray." Yan reportedly helped out as soon as he realized what happened and was also treated primarily for anxiety issues.
