Best show you've ever played and what made it great?
Too many great remember-able shows to pick, but the last GREAT show was this past New Year's Eve at Balazo gallery here in SF. it was a great all ages party in the heart of the Mission with our friends LA PLEBE and LOVE SONGS. We like to bring in every new year properly by making noise and dancing and getting a bit tipsy and of course we did all of that in excess.

Best venue in the world?
In the world? 615 in the Richmond.

Best fans in the world?
Ours obviously since we call them our friends.

What's your favorite song to perform?
This is always changing for me and of course depends on the atmosphere and the crowd. but lately THROUGH UNTO THE END off our new record has been the one I’ve been feelin'most lately. I think our new bass player GARRITT brought some new life and energy into that song.

Favorite collaborators?
All our friends that played on LONELY ROAD REVIVAL with us. We had TONY from THE OVENS lay down a savage solo, ADAM from TWO GALLANTS lay down some harmonica, and Pete's roommate DAN lay down some beautiful lap steel. they all came through for us and surpassed any expectations we had of them. but actually having me and Steve's DAD play fiddle with us on any occasion would have to be our favorite hands down. keeping it in the family, literally.

Lamest Crowd Request ever...
probably a tune that we had already played that very show earlier in the set.

How long have you lived in the Bay Area and Where
Born and raised with my brother Steve in the Richmond district in the same house my grandpa grew up in. We're like the 5th or 6th generation here in San Francisco so that’s probably a good reason why. Pete was born and raised here as well. we'd never call any other place home.

Favorite place to spend time online
There's this incredibly detailed archive of live Meat Puppet shows that I visit any time I'm at a computer with speakers.
