Does anyone else remember those awesome signs they used to have behind the driver on the old MUNI buses -- "Information Gladly Given But Safety Requires Avoiding Unnecessary Conversation"? Well, get some information -- and maybe even have some unnecessary conversations -- at Ross Mirkarimi's Town Hall Meeting On MUNI tomorrow, Wednesday November 1!

Ross and (SFist obsession) MTA Director Mr. Nathaniel Ford (!!!!!) will be on hand "to discuss your concerns about service, security, and the future of MUNI." Do us proud, disgruntled MUNI-riding SFist readers! Go, tell them all the brilliant things you guys've told us in the comments, and then send us your reports and pictures from the meeting and we'll run them in a special Dear Messrs. Mirkarimi And Ford column!

Meeting runs from 7-9 p.m. at the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park at 9th and Lincoln. Your MUNI options to get there are: the N, the 6, the 71, the 43, and the 44. (We don't really get why Mirkarimi's having the meeting outside District 5, but the information we got says that this is a jointly-planned thing with Mirkarimi, the Inner Sunset Merchants Association, and the MTA, among others, so maybe that's why it's in Fiona Ma's territory instead.)
