We wish we had seen them earlier.

Not that they didn't put on a good show or the music wasn't great, it's just that what we saw wasn't the raucous, fevered band we had heard on record or read about in the music mags. What we saw instead was a band still trying to figure out their new direction. It was a band trying to still figure out how to be the new band they were trying to be.
