BART is a far less colorful subject, but that doesn't make it any less of an object of obsession for some. Two BART-related treats have come across our desk lately, and we're hard pressed to decide which one delights us more.
SFist reader Ed has created this totally bad-ass flash BART fare calculator. God, we could click on this map for hours. Ed's motive for this project:
I needed a Flash project to work on and it always pissed me off how the info at the stations was in that horrible list of station names so I made one for the Civic Center station in Illustrator. And that was fine until a couple friends asked for versions for different stations. So I figured I might as well make one for ALL of 'em. And then my weekend disappeared.know that...I'm going to be updating it in the next couple of weeks so that there's a printer-friendly version so people can easily print it up and take it with them.
Then, SFist Violet tipped us off to this fantastic BART anagram map, which she saw on Boing Boing. "Shun a racoon's fist" made us laugh for about three minutes, which might be more insight into our character than you're comfortable with.
Now, if someone would just put the two together, our life would be at least somewhat complete. How much from 19th Stank Load to Bored Camera? We'd know in a flash!
