Two of the Bay Area's cultural treats combine tonight as the feminist pop culture magazine kicks off its 10th anniversary celebrations with an 8 p.m. 9:15 showing of Desperately Seeking Susan. Admission's $7 for this benefit showing; as far as SFist is concerned, the real benefit is seeing Madonna in a movie that isn't Swept Away.

The Parkway Theatre's at 1834 Park Blvd in Oakland, and the movie begins at 9:15 tonight.
