Yeah, so, a building in the Mission was totally just on fire. Near 17th and Shotwell. Crap! We're following the story and we'll have more news as soon as someone throws a heavy blanket over us and rolls us back and forth.
Update! Excellent blog-coverage from Quinn Norton. Thanks Danny! Apparantly the fire was outside a Hertz store (which wasn't damaged -- an empty warehouse was). Neighbors had been battling the Hertz store for years over their unsafe and illegal work conditions, including improperly placed propane.
