To get our juices flowing, KRON hosted a girly festival in Union Square on Sunday, complete with pink balloons, pink lemonade, pink tents, pink t-shirts, and a giveaway of 1,000 pairs of shoes. According to KRON, each pair of shoes was valued at $1,000 -- the idea that a person could wear a pair of $1,000 shoes without shame or self-loathing is only slightly more retarded than the idea that a million dollars was tossed out the window so that this sort of excess could go on.
