This week's adoptable pet (he'll be featured on SFist all week long on the right side of the site, below the ads) comes to us from Grateful Dogs Rescue. Romi is killing us with cuteness in this picture! Argh!

Romi is most likely Border Collie/Chow mix, which means he will be smart, energetic and focused. This 3 ½ month old male fuzzball is an incredibly sturdy, resilient little character. Most puppies don’t survive more than a week in the Northern California shelter where he came from. This guy lasted six weeks and, after all that, was slated to be put down because he had been there "too long." We rescued him and his brother Rio just in time, and they have proven to be as hearty temperamentally as they are physically. They are sweet, playful and happy to be out of the shelter. They will need an active household where they can get lots of exercise, training and direction.
