Artists for Literacy takes a really unique and fresh approach to getting people to read - they do it by using all kinds of media, not just the written word, to get people interested in the idea of reading and help them overcome the sometimes daunting nature of a book. If the student can find something about a book that's relatable or interesting to them they're already engaged in the book before they even open it. That's such a great idea!

Drink for Literacy is going on tonight (July 28th) at Butter from 9am-1am. Be sure to tip well (like you don't already!) as Ginevra and her pals behind the bar will be donating their tips to AFL.
