During practice a couple of months ago, Bay Area Derby Girl (and Varla model) Mad Maxine, slammed into a wall and knocked out her front teeth. Damn! That's hardcore stuff (don't look if you're squeamish). SFist likes ladies who knock it around and we just want to see her get some new teeth.
You can donate directly to Sarah Jean's tooth fund but more fun there's a benefit concert on Sunday at The Golden Bull in Oakland. The Cliftons, The Nightcrawlers, The Golden Gods, and Compton S.F. are playing. Doors open at 6pm, the show starts at 7. Admission is on a sliding scale - $5 to $20. Ages 21 and over.
