SFist is all about supporting local talent, and what better way to do so than to buy their wares? Tomorrow marks the 2nd Annual Hayes Valley Shopping Weekend, hosted by R.A.G. and azalea boutique and Beauty Lounge.
Brought to us by Mystery Girl Productions, youi'll be able to shop azalea's sample sale featuring multiple independent designers, and receive a mani/pedi in their beauty lounge. They'll also be serving hot cocoa and holiday cookies from An Occasional Cookie, and will be have gifts, raffles, and prizes all day.
According to their site, "R.A.G. stands for ‘Residents Apparel Gallery’ a boutique/gallery/co-op where Bay Area clothing and accessory designers rent their own rack and display their biography in a gallery-like space. R.A.G. is helping to foster new and emerging designers by giving them a place to display their entire line and/or to try out their new designs on the public." We like this idea very much. R.A.G. is hosting a Meet-And-Greet Your Favorite Local Designer Sidewalk Sale, and will be giving at least 10% off on all local designers, (including SFist Krissy's own Little Queen Accessories).
This sounds like a great holiday shopping solution for all of you who gripe about the stresses of shopping for unique gifts. So, come on down to Hayes Valley this Saturday for some local fashion and goodies. And while you're there, maybe you should do something about those toenails?
