SFist knew there was a reason we moved here! Recent polls show the Bay Area to be the most negative region of California, with 59% of people saying they think the state is in bad economic times (compared with a mere 53% for all other Californians) and only 14% saying these are good economic times (compared with a Pollyanna-like 24% everywhere else). Gloomy SFist is dismayed, though, to see that this actually represents an uptick in mood from 2003, when 89% of the Bay Area thought the economy was in the tank and only 4% thought it was good. (Who were those 4 percent fools, anyways? The Gettys?)
San Francisco where the skies are clear and the mood is gray!
