- A prosecutor wants to introduce cannabis-induced psychosis as a new “mental-state theory” in the case against Carlos Reales Dominguez who allegedly stabbed three people in Davis, California, in 2023. This is in spite of Dominguez already being evaluated and diagnosed with schizophrenia by eight psychologists and psychiatrists, for which he’s received treatment for the past two years. - As part of a recent $2.5 billion settlement over Amazon’s alleged misleading Prime enrollment process, the company has begun sending out automatic refunds to customers who signed up between June 23, 2019, and June 23, 2025 — and used three or fewer Prime services in any 12-month period, which should hit customers’ PayPal or VenMo accounts by December 24.
