- San Francisco had its first ever Pride Prom on Saturday under the rotunda on the fourth floor of the Emporium SF Centre — and video seems to show a lot of hetero couples there. [ABC 7]
- The fifth annual Lakefest at Oakland's Lake Merritt, which has been a celebration of Juneteenth and the start of summer, drew a smaller than usual crowd Saturday following a shooting at an unsanctioned Juneteenth event on Wednesday. [KTVU]
