The crash occurred around 4:16 pm Saturday on the Silverado Trail, south of Yountville Cross Road.
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the crash occurred just outside of Silverado Vineyards. Per the Chronicle, a Toyota Sienna minivan with five people inside, traveling south on Silverado Trail, veered into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a BMW X3 sport utility vehicle that had traveled from Menlo Park.
