- A traffic stop in Vacaville turned into a vehicle pursuit and a suicide early Tuesday. Officers initiated the stop around 12:30 a.m., the male driver initially stopped, then took off, his car was disabled by a spike strip, and then officers found him dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. - A July 18 concert at Felton Music Hall in Santa Cruz County appears to have seeded a cluster of COVID cases. At least four attendees, one employee, and nearly all of the band and its crew were infected. [ABC 7]
