Thanks to a Twitter bot that does nothing but tweet map details when aircraft are circling over parts of the Bay Area, we have a funny sketch of the flight path of a helicopter that was being used in the Matrix 4 shoot in San Francisco's Financial District on Sunday night.

The big night shoots, as noted a couple weeks back, are ongoing in and around downtown, including parts of North Beach and Chinatown, and yes, you might be able to spot Keanu Reeves if you try to hover at the perimeter somewhere — though the production assistants will surely be trying to keep you at a distance, and you already missed your shot at being an extra.

The Sunday shoot was apparently around California and Sansome and involved "simulated gunfire" and that low-flying copter. And according to the tweet, it was a "1997 Eurocopter AS 350 B2."

As the Chronicle notes today, shooting continues Wednesday — with Keanu back in town from his Sunday trip to the Academy Awards — from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Thursday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. The production previously said that the big shoots involving street closures would be concentrated between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., so as not to mess up downtown traffic any more than it's already messed.
