A 20-year-old Dublin man and a 20-year-old Daly City woman were fatally shot in their car in Oakland Saturday morning, and the car subsequently crashed into a house.
Oakland police have not yet determined where the shooting took place, but the vehicle ended up crashing into a home on the 500 block of Douglas Avenue at 11:07 a.m. Saturday, as KPIX reports. The location of the crash is about two exits south on 880 from the Oakland Coliseum, where the couple was reportedly heading to attend the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival.
No one else was reported injured, and police found the couple dead at the scene when they arrived.
The victims have not yet been publicly identified, and no suspects or motives have been determined by police. These were Oakland's 57th and 58th homicides of the year.
As the East Bay Times reports, the couple is believed to have been in a dating relationship.
