Some fans of the Toronto Raptors apparently shot off fireworks in the wee hours of Thursday morning outside the hotel where the Warriors are spending the week, ahead of tonight's Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
The Warriors are staying at the St. Regis in Toronto, and with their team heading into their first ever Finals, some fans got a bit rambunctious nearby.
KRON4 sports reporter Jason Dumas reported the news this morning via Twitter, and there was confirmation elsewhere in the Twitterverse that this had been planned since at least Wednesday morning.
Someone set off fire works last night outside the Warriors team hotel at 3am.

People in Toronto have found out the hotel the Warriors are staying at and plan to shoot off fireworks at 3am tonight from near by condos ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

People lighting fireworks off at the St. Regis where the Warriors are staying kind of makes me proud of Toronto’s pettiness. #NBAFinals

Tip off in Game 1 is at 6 p.m. And obviously none of the Warriors has made any statements suggesting they lost any sleep.
