Stephen Curry knows how to make an entrance. Getting into the Halloween spirit, Curry rode into Oracle Arena for Sunday's home game against the Detroit Pistons dressed as "Billy the Puppet," the creepy-as-hell ventriloquist puppet from the Saw movies. The above video's a treat, if only because of everybody else's reaction to Curry's costume and entrance. KRON 4 mentioned that Draymond Green was just busting up with laughter, and honestly, who could blame him?
Coincidentally (or perhaps not), Jigsaw, the latest installment to the Saw franchise, opened Friday to some fairly lukewarm reviews. It currently sits at 38% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a few folks saying that it's derivative but "respectful of its fanbase." It's probably a safe bet to say Curry's included in that fanbase, because let's face it, you don't dress up as a creepy ventriloquist puppet just because you're only sort of interested in a movie franchise.
Footwear News also helpfully points out that Curry's outfit also includes an all-red variant of the Curry 1, his very first signature shoe from Under Armour.
