If you plan to be driving on the Embarcadero at some point this evening, you probably should figure out a new plan. As ABC 7 alerts us, the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge Run will be having most of the street shut down as of 6:45 p.m. The race is also going to shut down part of Third Street from the ballpark all the way to Harrison, as well as the area around the other side of the ballpark near Terry Francois Boulevard the race kicks off at McCovey Cove, goes up Third, jogs over to Embarcadero and up to Howard, onto some piers, and then loops back, apparently.
The street closures go into effect at 6:45 p.m., and the race goes from 7:15 to about 8 p.m.
Head's up! Your drive down the Embarcadero might not happen today. Here's why: https://t.co/yFOAZuPfc1.

JP Morgan Chase has done these races the last few years in SF, and the race itself dates back to 1977, per Wikipedia, and is now run by JP Morgan Chase and other corporate employees in seven countries.
The race allegedly will not impact Muni at all, though that seems odd! The F and E cars apparently will still run during the race, and rest is unclear.
You've been warned.
