While much of the city was focused on rallies and marches against bigotry and hate on Saturday, a group of people headed to Ocean Beach for a planned demonstration of their own forming a heart shape that got topped with an American flag, and was photographed by helicopter.
This was an effort organized by the local chapter of the group Together We Will (TWW), who were behind the human banner spelling RESIST! on Ocean Beach earlier this year.
