A group of four women beat and robbed a Muni passenger Thursday, after their victim attempted to alert authorities regarding their activities.
Police say that the attack happened at 4:50 p.m.Thursday, on a Muni bus at the intersection of Kearny and Market Streets.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a 30-year-old woman was riding the bus when a group of four women who appeared to be between the ages of 19-21 "started harassing her."
When the woman attempted to user her cellphone to call the SFPD regarding the situation, the group of miscreants "surrounded her, started punching her and one took her phone."
The gang of four then fled on foot, police say, their victim's cell phone in hand.
The woman was left with non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the beating, police say. Her assailants remain at large, and the SFPD confirms that no arrests have been made in this case.
