In an incident police are investigating as a hot prowl, a thief broke into a Duboce Triangle-area home but only took some champagne.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the bubbly was swiped from a garage on the first block of Scott Street, which is located between Duboce Avenue and Waller Street.
Police say that the resident of the breached home, a 55-year-old male, "went down to the garage and found the garage door open."
A window in the garage was damaged, police say, and "bottles of champagne was missing."
The victim estimates that the crime occurred some time between 6:50 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday. Police didn't have any additional information on a suspect or suspects, but confirmed that no arrests have been made.
