Just a quick reminder: You can start buying three-day passes for this year's Outside Lands today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. PT. The lineup, as we told you earlier this week, includes Lorde, Gorillaz, Empire of the Sun, Alt-J, A Tribe Called Quest, Solange, Fleet Foxes, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Who. Oh, and Metallica.
General Admission passes are $375 apiece, and you can find those here, and while they're not likely to sell out within hours the way Burning Man tickets do, you never know. The festival happens August 11 to 13, and typically tickets don't sell out until around June.
VIP passes, which get you access to better bathrooms and special bars, as well as a less crowded viewing area for the main stage, are $795 apiece.
Also, pro tip: They're selling three-day shuttle passes for $48, apparently getting you special shuttle privileges from Civic Center to Golden Gate Park, but in all reality, Muni buses are likely to be virtually as fast, if not as comfortable, and they run extra ones all weekend long. Not to mention, the Muni ride back from the park is typically free anyway.
