A worker attempting to refill a Tenderloin-area ATM with money was attacked Monday afternoon by two cash-seeking suspects.
Police say that the crime occurred at 4:10 p.m. Monday, near an automatic teller located at the intersection of Turk and Leavenworth Streets.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the 50-year-old male victim was refilling the cash dispenser with money when two male suspects in their 20s approached.
The duo "tackled and punched" the victim, then "took [the] money and fled on foot."
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for the injuries he sustained in the attack. According to the SFPD, he's expected to survive.
The suspects have not been seen since, police say, and no arrests have been made in this case.
