A San Francisco man who allegedly committed multiple sexual assaults, including at least one on a child, while running an escort service that advertised on multiple online platforms is behind bars today, arrested following a three-day-long investigation.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, their Special Victims Unit began an investigation into 43-year-old David A. Carrasco, who also goes by the alias "Joey Noble," on November 26 following a reported sexual assault.

Police say that as part of the investigation they uncovered evidence that Carrasco, who they say "organized, executed and ran an escort service using Craigslist, Back Page and escortconsulting.com as his primary means of advertising," had committed multiple sex crimes.

A spokesperson with the the San Francisco Sheriff's Department confirms that Carrasco was booked into SF County Jail on November 29, where he remains as of publication time with bail set at $1.5 million. According to the SFPD, Carrasco has been booked on suspicion of numerious felony counts, including "rape, sodomy, lewd and lascivious acts with a child, sexual penetration, kidnapping, false Imprisonment, pimping and pandering, assault with a deadly weapon, and destroying/concealing evidence." He's scheduled to appear in San Francisco Superior Court at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

At present, police are reluctant to divulge more information about the case, including the number of suspected victims, but will say that they believe there are more victims who have yet to speak out.

Speaking with ABC 7, SFPD spokesperson Officer Grace Gatpandan says "With a sexual assault victim, it could be anyone, the Internet reaches every single person in age range, so we want people to come forward, and if you're afraid to come to police or you're embarrassed, we want to let you know that we're here to help you and we want to bring justice if you are a victim of this individual."
