Sunday's 33rd annual Folsom Street Fair was at least 300,000 people strong according to organizers, and locals and fetish tourists alike flocked to SoMa to take in the sunny spectacle and brave sometimes slow-moving crowds. And it was a hot one! (literally and figuratively)
Big name alterna-electro bands YACHT and Dragonette both drew plenty of fans to the main stage on 10th Street, while the Honey Soundsystem crew curated an internationally notable DJ lineup for the dance stage on 11th Street that included Germany-based Lena Willikens, and Tel Aviv's Roi Perez.
Once again, gay, straight, queer, trans, etc. etc. gathered together either to don a little leather for the only time this year, or to engage publicly in BDSM fun that would usually be kept behind closed doors, keeping San Francisco weird yet again in the most glorious way.
Also, as Hoodline shows us in their photo set, there was at least one man dressed in Ab Fab drag with a sign that said "Spank Patsy Stone."
Take it all in.
