A couple's early-morning argument turned violent Sunday morning, after a woman ended a disagreement by running over a man with her car.
Police say that it was 2:50 a.m. Sunday when a 25-year-old woman and 22-year-old man "got into an argument" on the 400 block of Brannan Street, which is between Third and Fourth Streets.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, as the discussion escalated, the woman "got into her vehicle and drove into" the man.
After the car hit him, police say, she kept on going, fleeing eastbound on Brannan in her sedan.
The man was knocked unconscious in the collision, and suffered injuries to his back. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which police say are not life-threatening.
As of Monday morning, police say that the errant driver remains at large, and no arrests have been made in the case.
