Fans of Stevie Nicks, I have good news for you: The white witch herself is doing a solo tour this fall, and she'll be playing San Jose's SAP Center on December 14, as CBS 5 reports.

The tour kicks off in Phoenix on October 25, and Stevie will be lining her retirement coffers with the proceeds from two dozen North American stops in a brief seven weeks, finishing up in LA on December 18.

Even better: Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders, who have a new album out this October, will be opening for Stevie at the San Jose show.

Pre-sales are on now, and the official general public on-sale date is Monday, September 12.

And this just provides a perfect opportunity for me to post this video, shot during a Rolling Stone photo session in the early 1980's, featuring Stevie and her backup singers harmonizing on "Wild Heart" while she's getting her makeup done. It is, I would say, better than the album version.
