A teenaged robber who attacked a man in a wheelchair remains at large today, following an early-morning mugging near Pier 40.
It was 12:25 this morning when police say that the suspect approached the 25-year-old victim near the South Beach Harbor, which is between Pier 40 and AT&T Park.
The mugger, who according to a report from the San Francisco Police Department appeared to be between 15-18 years old, put the victim "in a headlock" then "knocked [the victim] off his wheelchair."
As he did so, the robber took the victim's "digital camera from his lap," then fled on foot with it in his clutches. According to the SFPD, the suspect hasn't been seen since, and no arrests have been made in this case.
